Color lights - LED - for Arch

I just kept the same fixtures and only swapped out the bulbs- the festoon bulbs I got from superbrightleds and the G4 base (in the hardtop) bulbs were from Sailor Sam's -but they are made by IMTRA (at least packaged in their packaging). My fixture took two G4 (thats the pin base) per and the festoon bulbs are in the cockpit. Alot less money than switching out all the fixtures.

For those who have the Apreiron tri-color, did you get warm white or cool white? If you have the warm white, is it a noticible difference than the "normal" white?

I don't have them but, warm white will be closer to the original yellowish type light. Cool white will have the blueish tint to the light.

I replaced the festoon bulbs with the Superbrights. Make sure you get the ones with th bucking circuits built in.

For the G4 replacements. I am very happy with the ones from Marinebeam.com. buck circuiting and a high quality product. they are not cheap, but will probably last as long as you own your boat.

I use Warm white everywhere. On the arch with Cool white, it was just too harsh with that bluish cool white all over the white gelcoat.
