We have the Spacemaker coffee pot, and (with little else to work on) have decided to focus on a replacement. I would like to solicit your input. Here are the parameters.
We are coffee junkies. At home, we are spoiled rotten by a Saeco Magic Comfort plus with fresh grind, espresso and foamers (incredible machine if you have an interest). We would like a pressurized system, with fresh grind for espresso. We also are somewhat coffee lazy, and would like to have as much of the process automated as possible. We could put something on the counter, and repurpose the coffee nook on the 380 but ideally would like to leave the coffee pot space as is. That means a similarly sized machine with front access for beans and water (although I could plumb the water easily enough). We have no interest in single serve machines (like Keurigs)...nothing at all against people that have them and love them...just not our aspirational goal. It may be that our parameters exclude all options other than putting it on the counter, but as I started looking at machines and there seemed to be thousands...it struck me to ask if anybody has been down this road already?
