I had this refurbished when it was 1.5 years old - spent $450, then have not used it even once since then. Just trying to get my money back out. It has snaps on the front and sides and bungee's on the back to match the 340, and 2 poles inside to keep the rain out. It even conforms and snaps to the arch.

John, I think Frank on here "NOWAKEZONE" JUST bought one, I think, maybe he'll chime in later. I have one also but don't have the poles. Could you be a pal and tell me the length and diameter measurements for the poles and maybe a pic cause I don't have a clue as to what they look like.

Bruce, as always my brother...

I have the poles. Bought them from Great Lakes...they're still here. Never been on the boat, they're not needed. Knowing Hampton's tenacity at getting things right, I'm sure his setup is sweet. It's a great hurricane cover, which is what they call them in Naples.

Hampton's price is an excellent deal for anyone looking.

Oh btw, regarding this cover having snaps already. The boats come from the factory with snaps on the hull. The dealer puts the snaps on the Great Lakes canvas. It's very, very likely that the snaps on Hamp's cover will fit another 340 perfectly. I bought a leftover aft curtain in toast that had snaps and bungee's already. Every one fit exactly except for one snap on the gunwale and it was a half inch off. A small snap extender fixed that. Bottom line, if you have a 340 and want a cockpit cover....this is a good deal.

Bruce,

I am fairly sure I have the poles to the cover you are asking about. They have never been used as we are in a covered slip and really don't need the poles, just use the cover to keep crap out. If I can find them, you can have them if you need some. Will check this weekend when we go to the marina.

Thanks Frank and Travis for the replies. I thought that making the cover a little tighter / taughter via using the poles would reduce the wind factor during a serious wind / hurricane storm. That's why I was asking about them. :smt024

Give me a couple days. I'm on the road.

I literally just bought one from great lakes. It is still in the box. Do you guys know if I can return? If yes, I'm very interested in this one because it is a good deal and agreed the snaps should line up.

I doubt that they'll take it back scott free, they may charge a re-stocking fee. It's not like they have them sitting around waiting to be sold. The literally make them as the orders come in.

I'll call tomorrow and ask.

Sorry for lack of update. I didnt get a chance to call and if I remember right, they are closed on Fridays anyway. Will trey Monday. Please don't hold for me if someone wants but I'm going to try and sweet talk GL.

No luck. They said they are made to order. Good luck with the sell. Great deal for someone.

Thanks. Sorry I Posted ToO Late. Phone Formatting.
