I have the facory installed Clarion XMD2 With the remote on the dash. Works great , few years ago I had Tower speakers installed and a Large Amp. There is a very good classic rock FM Station less than 40 miles where I boat, It is also a very powerful signal wise station, but for some reason I cant seen to pick it up anymore . I have gotten my big head in the compartment behind my stereo to see if the FM antenna has come unplugged and I cant even see where a FM antenna plugs in . Thought the guy that installed amp may have unplugged it. Clarion Customer Service is useless . Anybody got any ideas

I remember "back in the day", there used to be a "antenna signal booster" that one could buy from Radio Shack. But, with today's technology(s) it's probably obsolete. I feel ur pain on not being able to receive the station. I live in New Orleans, and the station that I like to listen to is about 60-65 miles away from here.
Back to your question/problem. Before the install, where you able to receive the signal/station? Are you able to receive any other closer stations? Lastly, do you know for a fact that the classic rock station is still on the air?

You do not need to post in more than one forum as most of us use the 'New Posts - 24 Hours" and will see it. I will ask a moderator to remove your duplicate.

Yes I used to get it perfect. The station still brodcast, I listen to it on my truck more than 100 miles away. There's got to be a way to plug an antenna in , I just can't find a pic of back of this radio online anywhere. I have the owners manual just can't find the right info
