I just can't decide. What are your guys thoughts? There is a good deal on a carb but it has less horse. It is worth an extra couple thousand dollars for the extra 50HP and EFI. Any thing you got would be helpful. Pros and Cons?
Thanks

What do you plan on doing with it? How many people usually on board? Watersports?
Also got to think of resale should you decide to sell and upgrade, etc

A "50 HP" difference must mean you're comparing a boat with a carb'd V-6 to a boat with a fuel injected V-8... 190HP vs 240HP.

I think this is going to be a pretty one-sided argument here! :smt001

Besides the HP difference, which on a boat there never seems to be enough of. EFI in my experience starts at the turn of a key every time just like your car. No pumping the throttle 3 times tricks. No throttle lag or flat acceleration spots, just smooth even power delivery.

Well worth it in my book.

My 190 has carbs and it has plenty of power... Carbs are forgiving and easy to maintain...

Thanks everyone. This boat will be a lounge boat somedays and a ski tubing boat other times. The extra hp and EFI worth, 3K$ more?

There is a reason that almost nothing has carbs anymore. EFI is just plain better. Whether it is $3K better or not, I dunno.
