Can You Guess How Big The New Sea Ray is? I hear it's BIG.

Guys, I'm sure if you can make it to the Miami show, they'd love to show it to ya.
Boat Guy- I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth, but I'm pretty sure Gary's point is that there was a time when real prospective buyers of multi-million dollar Sea Rays were not simply told to stand in line at a boat show. That may be perceived as "negative" but it is a statement of fact.

Tim's point does present a problem for Sea Ray: There is only one 650, yet they have takes several pre-orders for them. My guess is that the Boat in Miami will go right back to PD&E for some final tweaking, then head to customer #1 on the list. The problem is: How does one who is interested in a 650Fly or 650DA get to spend enough time on one, much less sea trial one in order to evaluate the boat?

For what it's worth, we've sold several 650s, all by private appointment (or FLIBS or Yacht Expo). Anyone seriously considering the purchase of a 650 should let your salesperson know and you'll find the red carpet rolled out for you!

Frank - great points. We're actually going to hold on to the first boat and tour it all the way up the East Coast through the summer and fall with a variety of VIP, casual and surprise stops along the way. We can arrange for quality time aboard the 650 for anyone serious about a purchase.

The circle on the left is where there is supposed to be an enclosed bridge... The circle on the right is the optional chain-link fence for dogs. Nice feature!!!! Almost as well thought out as the bridge!!!!

Umm. It seems counter-intuitive that temporary fencing needs to be installed for cleaning the boat when it's up on the hard but the owner's family out on a moving boat in active sea way makes due with apparently inadequate protection.

It's OSHA, not RSHA. Occupational, not recreational.

It is disturbing that we don't have the government protecting us from ourselves while we boat.

Uh, have you counted the number of warning stickers plastered all over your boat? My favorite is the one near the radome that says you shouldn't put your head near it while it's transmitting.

No.........Zeus has about a 700hp capacity limit; E rated C-18 Caterpillars produce 1015 hp. I suspect that the designers will make the ZF joystick system available as an option.
