Can this cut down frost over in frige

Dunno if that works. i would think it will not work since the moisture on the fridge unit is directly from the condensation on the unit itself when you open the door.
Our fridges run all summer and we just defrost them every 1 to 3 weeks depending on use and ice build up. I won't let the ice build up more than 1/4 inch. Frequent de-icing is the best way to ensure a long fridge life.
 
A boater told me of an idea that cut down the frosting over of his boat refrigerator. Using those moister containment cans, Damprid, he was able to slow down the process of his refrigerator frosting over. This also allowed his refer to run less often. Has anyone tried this?
