Idea that I have if the bilge pump runs for extended time it will shut off ac pump. Maybe evan close valve of the supply water. Any ideas ?

It would be much simpler to wire a high water alarm switch to a relay that would kill the AC system. Me I never leave the boat for long periods of time with the AC running. The slips are metered and @ 17 cents a KW with 2 AC's it can get expensive.

Here in Texas I see that most if not all run there ac units year round. I found that the top of all of my sea strainers are above the waterline. Their for the weakest link is the ac pump. I like the idea of a high water switch. My biggest problem is I am a machinist with the ability to fix or modify anything in turn I am rarely happy the way things come out of the box. I fix things that aren't broken.

Yes it is possible ! Leaving AC systems on ,unattended for extended periods, is an accident waiting to happen. Leaving dockside water "on" ,unattended.....same thing.
Re:top of sea strainer ,Take the top of the sea strainer off , then open the sea cock and see what happens....!

My neighbor's boat accross the water from me sunk last year form the AC seacock broke... The AC was not running, when it sunk. Inspection of the seacock and lines is important. I have heard that the most common way boats sink are at the dock from shore water being left on, an a hose or fitting breaking...
