Can a non-SeaRay owner be a member here??

Welcome Seeg you will find that everyone here has an open mind and is happy to talk to anyone as long as it is about the thing we all love, BOATING :smt038
Which model Tiara, what is her name and where do you call home? :smt001

Dan - I think I am going to faint! A posting from a Seattle member! Welcome back -- We are at Carillon Point! Where are you at Lake Union (my favorite spot to putter around)?

What do you think of the change of Tiara dealerships this year?

Great to have you here again!

I'm at Western Yacht Harbor a couple of blocks South of the Sea Ray dealer on Westlake. It's the covered moorage with the odd (looong A) shaped roof with the 45' Bayliner partially obstructing the entrance if you approach by water.

I'm conflicted about the change in ownership. I really liked the people at Crows Nest especially our salesperson who we got to know rather well when he accompanied us on a couple of trips back to the Tiara factory in Michigan. And, they took our Sea Ray in on trade when Kevin and Steve didn't seem interested. I really wanted the 2002 or 2003 410 EC with the hardtop and diesels they had there for a couple of years. Even though I bought my 400 EC from them used and the 410 new we couldn't get close on the price. It seemed it was always wholesale on my boat and retail on theirs. In any event Venwest now has the Tiara dealership. They sort of specialize in 7 figure boats and I wonder how comitted they are to Tiara, especially the smaller boats. I spent some time with them at the boat show and it was sort of like meeting your ex-wifes new husband. Ok, but seemed like something was missing or strange. Perhaps it will improve with time.

We pump out at Carillon Point from time to time, although sometimes it's shut down during the winter. We're usually on the boat during the weekend so if you're out drop by. Oh, and don't faint!

We have a 43 foot Sovran. We keep her in Seattle although we reside in beautiful Central Washington. The boat name is in the signature, CARUS.
