Ok pretty obvious that condensation will occur on the boat when overnighting but is there any way to reduce it. Has anyone put anything on the glass and plastic to help deter it.

It is multiple fold for me as it hinders my visibility for early morning fishing trips as well so I want to try to do what I can to reduce it.

Cheers

I haven't heard of anything that helps. I used rainx once but it didn't work. I carry a chamois which does a good job. Great way to wake up..... stretch the cr#p out of your back trying to reach the far corners of the windscreen!

We keep a small marine heater going on the aft deck and it greatly reduces dew on the glass & canvas......(on shore power of course)

We use towels. Our 96' 300 DA had Cockpit heat and a defogger that worked great, and did not require shore power or a genny... We dry off the plastic with towels and take it off... better yet wait until the sun comes up..

I use one of these California Blades and it works great. Doesn't scratch the window material and gets rid of the condensation.

I have also ran a small heater on shore power ans had zero dew - It was nice as I could see out the windows in the morning and everyone else was fogged up.
