I look at boats on the different web sites. I just like to look, maybe trend prices abit. But I don't understand the "call for price" crap. Is it supposed to weed out people that aren't serious about buying? Even if they posted the highest price possible they can still neg. from there. I like to see where their minds are at and if I would be just wasting my time for looking because they are in dream land. I tend to just skip over the "call for price" stuff by putting in a miminum price above zero, and most web sites eliminate them from my search. So why exclude your boat by not posting a price. Maybe they are wanting someone to offer more than what they were going to sell for? I don't get it.
I don't know if I accept the whole the price can be lower depending on the time of year.....blah, blah, blah
Yes it's easy enough to call, but if I do, just to get a starting price, they bug the heck out of you. Send hundereds of e-mails, ads, and corespondence I don't want to get. I just want to know the starting price so I can put them on the maybe, crazy, or buy list.
I have a couple of years before I get serious about buying something....but heck, if the right deal fell in my lap.......who knows.
Maybe y'all can help me understand.
