Any one know where i can find a bow sun cushion that attaches to the side rails?

cant find it anywhere:huh:

Have you tried to find the part number in the part manual and typed in that number in google? Or perhaps the local Marine Max near you?

I would think finding an upholstery shop that could make one for you would be best. Our 370 has custom pads for either side of the middle stock one. We had to have one remade and that's the route we went.

I have been trading emails with www.boatsunpad.com about pads for our 480 MY. I did not want to install snaps into the deck, so they are offering a version that will have a strap that snaps around the railing. They have 1", 2" or 3" pad with headrest and cup holders as options if you want them. Admiral has not approved this project yet, so we are on hold. We are looking at one that is 94" x 7' to fit our upper deck and comes apart in three sections for storage below.

I had the same problem

I could not find the sun pad that goes on my boat and when I asked to have it made I almost fell over, like 600 to 700 bucks

So instead I bought one of these ( http://www.poolfloatsmart.com/) pool floats in white and it fits perfectly between my rails

I then got 2 white bungees to hold it in place and it looks like it was made for the boat

Been all over the place and it has moved an inch

We also can use it as a float when hanging out on the hook, kinda 2 birds with 1 stone

Good idea thanks......

Bill, We have one but, I don't think it will be worth the cost of making one... I know if my wife would make one, the cost of the SeaRay vinyl is $24 a yard and labor would about $200 so you are looking at around $300. If I were you I would get a chaise lounge chair cushion and sew on a couple of snaps and bring out when you need it... My complains that our pad is too small...

That's nuts!

We make these things for people around here so we obviously KNOW what our costs are. And charging those kind of prices is just robbery. Yes others have higher overhead than we have but still......

We just made one for an '05 Regal and charged them $269.00. We're about to make another for a girl at our Club......I expect it to be less than $200....it's going to be a bit smaller. Just quoted on another last week for a guy,,,,between $175 - $200.

Where people get off charging the prices they do makes me wonder how they stay in business.

We may have to double our rates.

Thanks....
Do you have a web site?? info how to order ??etc.

Sorry no. We're a small "Ma & Pa" operation....been doing boat interiors for 5 years now....along with other stuff like these sun pads. But we've been staying "local" here in the 1000 Islands area. I don't know if we want to get into the shipping end of things.

Where is Lyndenhurst NY?

What if we ask really nicely......please... My wife and kids want one for our Weekender

I'd also be interested in one for our sedan it doesnt come with one . Even if you add shipping i'm sure it wouldnt total $600-$700
There are a few of us who might seriously consider /shipping. Let us know.

We have oodles of pics of interior projects we've done....but none of any sunpads.

We made one for our own boat.....one for a guy at our club.....and two more orders just came in. That's all we've done...or will be doing with pads thus far. Just haven't had any call for them here.

And we appreciate the interest....but really......we'd be working from someone else's measurements and we really prefer to do a site visit and take our own measurements while talking with the client about fabrics/colors etc.

Sorry guys...would love to help out but.....

Joe!!!
New boat?? Howare ya???/

For someone like jerryd who needs a pad almost 8' x 7'....in 3 sections that come apart....I can see the cost getting up there pretty good.

But for anyone else who is just looking for something more basic like maybe 2 to 3 feet wide by 6 or 7 feet long....with either snaps or straps....I'd suggest checking as many upholstery shops as you can find. gotta find a better price somewhere than that $600-$700 figure quoted earlier.

good luck...wish we could help.

Thanks anyway. Hey Bill yesh a new boat. Sent you a pm hope all is well?
