I like the Bullits but looking at a set of SVE's. Not planning on doing much. Tires and wheels and maybe the convertible 'roll' bar hoop. Wife likes the looks of those so might add that. That's about it for upgrades. Did the hot rod thing back in the 90's. Just want a nice cruiser now.

I really like the early 2000's bodies

Brings back memories. About 15 years ago I went to the auto auction to buy a car for work. Talked with the wife before going and we agreed on a budget of about $6,000. About 30 minutes into the auction I bought a Mitsubishi Galant for about $3,200. Since it would take about 45 minutes for the paperwork to be done, I was hanging around the lot when I saw a white Mustang GT convertible (chrome dish wheels, big V8 and dual exhaust) come across the auction line. To my surprise, the car wasn't drawing a lot of interest and bidding was light. I threw in a bid of $2,700 and I won the auction. Imagine my wife's face when I came home with two cars instead of one. But she couldn't say much because I was under budget.

Had a lot of fun with that car. My younger son drove the car for his senior year in High School (against my better judgement) and ended up blowing the engine. He was taking Auto Mechanics so we bought an engine on Ebay, shipped it to the school and he and his fellow students put it in (and they almost got it right)

Eventually my wife complained I had too many cars so I sold it for $2,400 at a garage sale. Still miss that car.

Nice car!

If I ever end up with a convertible mustang, it’s definitely getting the Thomas Crown Affair treatment.

Nice car boatman! Wife just got a convertible last week. Super fun as we haven’t had one before. Where are you located? Maybe we could go for a cruise
