I'll subscribe to this thread as I would be interesting in re-tooling my sound system too. Lets see what feedback you get.

This doesn't answer your question, as I don't have experience with Boss Audio. However, I have installed JL Audio speakers, subs, and amps and they are fantastic!

Their car audio stuff is middle to lower end.

I can't speak specifically about their marine gear, but I suspect it is likely the same.

Boss and pyle are pretty close to each other. As stated above there auto equipment is terrible and there marine equipment is worse. If you want quality sound stick with jl clarion and I have heard nothing but amazing reviews from fusion. I had all clarion equipment on my las boat and was very happy but my new boat will be getting all fusion. Stay away from the cheep crap. You will only have to replace it next year. Worth spending th money once
Oh yea and I herd (dont have proof) that they dont coat the boards inside there marine equipment like they say they do. So theres no salt corrosion protectionn

I will be looking at the Fusion products on BOE later.

John "Hampton" is an authorized Dealer for JL Audio, you might drop him a pm.

I put boss on previous boat. Good for the price but doesn't compare to quality stuff. I have JL 7.7 speakers on my current boat and they sound absolutely great without an amplifier.

Fusion products are awesome for boats. I installed it on my cruiser and it manages to catch the mood everytime everyone hears it and even the quality is far good.

I'm just about to put this into my 220DA, but reckon will take it with me to next Searay.
