This is our second season with the boat and our first season having our puppy aboard. Prior to taking her out on the boat, I took her to the boat twice, maybe three times while I was doing minor work on the boat (installing LED's, and fixing the transom shower). That way she was used to being on the boat and comfortable with it prior to being exposed to the noise or vibration of the motors.
We have had her out during the day and at night and she is very happy on boat any time of day and just about any water conditions too.
Laci has been on the boat several times at the dock. No issues. Loves it. Takes a nap every time. Only taken her out a couple of times, about an hour each, slow and fast so she gets an idea of what it's like. Did ok. When running fast, she wears the mutt muffs which she's not too crazy about - yet. She will learn quickly that when running fast, she wears them. Also, once we get a dinghy and can go ashore and let her explore, think she will tolerate the boat ride better. And as long as she doesn't get wet. Yep, water is for drinking only (out of the fountain not her bowl though). Thanx all for sharing your stories and pictures!
