Boating-vs-Golfing

He's a big mouth know-it-all opinionated bully wannabe. Those guys get exposed, not apologized to.
He's popping off about a subject he knows nothing of and presenting his (and dead Pete's) opinions as fact. Not gonna fly.

I know someone who isnt going to get a very consistent pull next time out on the liquid

Pete was a good man. I think what I will miss most are our summers in Rangoon making meat helmets.

I'll never forget him, what a party animal. The chicks....man, I was honored to walk behind him and get his leftovers. Rest in peace buddy.

I've tried golf a couple of times in my life. Frankly, I couldn't do it. I think it's one of those hobbies that takes you 10 years to get bad. It only takes 7 years of piano lessons to get bad. Plus, I don't know how anyone can say it's "relaxing" as trying to get that freekin' little white ball in a hole on the other side of the farm is very frustrating.

I love when idiots preface a remark with this stupid line. If you have no personal point of reference then stfu.
As for your VP of sales, he's a moron. He sounds about as athletic as you look. Many large corporate deals are done on golf courses every year. That's factual.

As for "dumb" and "pointless" it's called excercise, you know, cardiovascular workout, improved muscle tone and strength. You might want to try it sometime. Based on the pictures we've seen of you looks like it would do you a world of good.

What a troll... Never attends events... Never adds any value to the board... too stupid to realize there are groups of people on here that actually are friends outside of CSR and boat together...

Speaking of which, I found this great picture of *you* on the Internet:

How embarrassing...

PS: You may want to go back to the doctor and get some more meds. You get really unstable when you run out.

Not surprising that anything requiring physical skill and coordination would allude you. Injure any of your children lately?
Speaking of bringing nothing to the table, it took longer than expected for the head a$$wipe to offer his take, useless though it is.
Does your angry wife know you spend so much time creating elementary school art on the internet? Or is she too busy changing the soft goods again? She must be so proud....

I really needed this thread today after an ECG and stress test. Apparently, I need more cardiovascular exercise. Maybe I should take up golfing??

I think thats best discussed with your doctor, but imo, walking the golf course could be good. I would suggest going out during the week so you arent rushed, and just take the game as exercise, not to win any championships. Relax, enjoy the walk, hit some balls.

I actually play, or at least attempt to occasionally. I have also saved tons of money by doing negotiations on the course with my suppliers....

Alcohol, tobacco and southern BBQ is killing me slowly. I will at least have a smokey flavor with a hint of bourbon, hops and grapes should anyone decide to eat me when I pass.

I like to golf with friends and family

I think you should take up beating the crap out of a-holes that steal your lines and fenders.:smt021

I used to play golf all the time. I would spend $2,000 - 4,000 per year on greens fees easily. Add in beer and tobacco and it was much more. Slowly but surely boating took over and greens fees became fuel costs. I still play occaisionally for business, so I practice enough not to embarass myself. I haven't kept a handicap in awhile, right now it's my swing. Played to an 8 at one time. I found it a lot more relaxing the better I got. Now I don't really care if I'm not good, so it's relaxing no matter what.

The shame about this thread is that although some of us have differing views from Frank, we can keep it civil, while a small group has to be a$$holes about it...:smt021
