Black water tank empties itself while running boat on plane

Your Capital of BC, Victoria dumps raw sewage straight into the Puget Sound with no treatment at all.... I think that is offensive and not joking... I have been told by marina staff in the Gulf Islands that they wouldn't stick a big toe in the water in marina...:huh:

I've also heard there are no dump stations in the Carib. Wonder where all that black water goes?

Ok, that's what I thought. Usually only "Benny's" say things like that. BTW, New Jersey has the third cleanest waters in the U.S. Care to guess where NY stands? Just sayin....:smt001

On top of new jersey! Both literally and figuratively!
 
Sydney, used to outfall ours straight out, like I mean a couple of hundred meters. The cliff faces were a brown colour they shouldn't have been. Bondi Beach and other beaches would get closed when the wind and currents ran the wrong way.....Surfers didn't appreciate the Chokita Bars floating beside them.

A few years back they rebuilt, buried the pipes under the sea floor and took it 2km out, discharging it on the floor so around 100m or more down, the idea being the sea would dissipate it and the currents would keep it down

Seems to work, the water is clean.......the fish population is thriving and getting bigger each year...

My jibe about swimming out there though, personally I was serious.....we grow our sharks big and plentiful, and the last year they have been taking a liking to human flesh for entree

Totally agree, I believe in protection for them, I have just decided my swims now are short and quick. Also when swimming with the labrador I hate the way he has to hug me!

I blame my parents for letting me watch Jaws, alone when I was 14...

And I know they dont eat us, they just take a test bite, then sit as foul tasting polluters out

Keep your $h!t in your own waters. We up north have nasty as it is no need to add to it thank you very much! And you southerners aren't aloud to make fun of the northerners we can only make fun of each other! :smt043
 
In my state, we have NEVER dumped in our coastal waters, nor would any of us EVER even THINK about doing it.
