Best mod under a 100.00

Not even close to the best under $100 addition.............take a look at the Bennett Auto Tab Retractor. It is a mod that actually does something and even pays for itself over time.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Did you use 12VDC or 120 VAC lights? Where did you get the lights and what type did you use?

12volt leds. A 16 ft string was only 30.00 bucks shipped from eBay. Do a search for rope leds, USA.
The USA will filter out all the overseas sellers.

Next time you want to do a $100 mod, can you just put the $100 in an envelope and send it to me? That way you won't waste your money.

Courtesy lighting is nice, but the blue LED phenomenon has to stop. I see what you were trying to do, but I'm not a fan either. For $100 a new holding tank filter would be a great mod for some boats I know.

I personally didn't realize it was a phenomenon. But am curious why "it has to stop"?

If you've seen a marina with nearly every boat that either has them in their cockpit or under their swimstep, it's like then aliens have landed. I'm glad you like them, but it is just a fad I'm not a fan of that's all.

Lol, I bet that would b a sight. I am moored at a small Marina on bull shoals lake in southern Missouri that is not mainstream to say the least. I was the first cruiser in the dock an now am 1 of only 2 in the complex. So an alien invasion not likely. Can appreciate ur view an respect ur opinion.

I have color changing leds everywhere in my cockpit and cabin and i think they r pretty cool
and for todd, i have blue underwater lights as well, however i am in a heavy populated lk st clair and have yet to see them on another boat.......
must be a west coast fad..... Lol. Jk
to each his own, it is your boat and noone elses, do what makes u happy!!

I think it looks nice but, more importantly, you do!! That's what's great about our boats. They are an extension of ourselves so do what makes you happy. Not all will agree and that's cool too!
