I need to buy a hand held vac for my 300DA. What do you guys (and gals) recommend ? It doesn't have to be cordless.

We have a Dyson 6 or something like that. it was about $400 but works great. short battery life though. dies after about 10 minutes if you have it on high. we got it at home depot and it is purple. not home now so can't verify the model but can get it if you need it.

Try to find a wet/dry handheld if you can. I have a 20v lithium ion black and decker pivot something or other. Super powerful for handheld spot cleaning. No matter how hard I try and how careful I might be, it will invariably suck a load of water out of the carpet into its guts. Awesome vacuum and cheap at around $50 but I'm afraid it's in the wrong environment and living on borrowed time.

we have one of these....works great.....

This is my go to vac for the boat. Not exactly a hand held but still pretty small.

I just bought a bagless vac at Walmart for $50cad. Works great, plug-in, small/light. For that price if it only lasts a couple of years, chuck and buy another.

Shark Rocket.
It disassembles and stored nicely in the floor storage

2.5 gal. wet/dry vac from Home D is $30.
Vac carpets inside, water out of the bilge, shower sump/drains or blow up water toys.
It's a must have for me, stores in the ER.

Best hand held size shop vac is the Snap-on one I got from Pep Boys. My 16 gal heavy duty Craftsman doesn't even come close to having the same suction.

Eureka EasyClean Model 71B. Picked this up on Amazon a couple of years ago for around $40.00.
