I'm with Scholarship. I had MB Quart Marine Speakers on my last boat. They are great! I highly recommend them. :thumbsup:Scholarship said:

JC- If you really want to love your purchase definitely get and amp before you light them up. Trust me the one thing good speakers scream for is power. You'll think you spent money on nothing without throwing those MB's some juice. Best of luckJC3 said:UPDATE: Well having studied this thing to death I went with MB QUART speakers. Taking them to the boat in 2wks and will update then on how they sound. Thanks everyone for your help! :smt038 JC
I'm like you, I don't need to have my ears bleeding, but with enough Power you will take advantage of the high quality MB speakers. They love juice, so regardless of the volume they'll sound good. The big thing though is if you starve them for power is when they'll blow :smt009JC3 said:Todd, I have a Clarion 160/2 amp. I dont want it to sound like ( i better be nice) too loud. Will the Clarion push it enough to sound reasonable to this ole country boy. :smt017 JC
