Don't know how you have spent the last few days, but here is how I spent mine on a Solo lake Powell trip....I spent over$600.00 on fuel ($5.53 a gallon at the marina)...and I have no regrets. Enjoy the video. BTW this is my first video I have ever produced using my Contour HD. SO pardon the amature nature of the video.

Looks like a great time on the lake, its beautiful out there. Video looks great too, just got a GoPro, and my first attempt didn't look that good. What video software do you use?

nice trip; can't watch vido. at the B F marina and net is to slow.

spent 5 days in halls creek bay then moved up to escalante. spent 6 days on the escalante in a amphitheater. we were on the east side of the channel across from davis gulch. shade all day till 3 then again after 6:30 when sun dropped behind canyon wall opposite us. nice .

went back north and did 4 days in moki canyon.

back at slip at bull frog for a bit and refitting and resting. going back out next week till the forth. havn't decided yet where.

your lucky. wish i could get by with 600 for fuel.:smt089 filled sat, day before yesterday and gas at the fuel dock here is 5.12

I just used some cheap free stuff off the internet. VideoPad Video Editor.

You are the Lucky one. I haven't go to spend much time up around Halls Crossing, or the Escalante. I really want to make it up in to the San Juan arm at some point.

I started out touring up through Last Chance, then ended up caping over night in one of the arms of Warm Creek. Next day headed up lake to the DR and from there toured through Mountain Sheep, Driftwood, and Stayed in Balanced Rock. The last day headed up to the Bridge for a morning hike, then off to Hole-In-The ROck or (Crossing of the Fathers) I tried to anchor out and Hike the HITR, but the wind was not in my favor. Toured through Lewellyn Gulch, Anasazi, and Reflection. Camped and Hiked Reflection canyon, looking for Ruins and Petroglyphs.

I hopefully will get back up there in July. :)

Found on this trip that I somehow have bent the center spindle on the right side of my trailer at some point. can't believe I didn't blow a tire. :(

BTW, I topped off in Flagstaff so I didn't get the jacked up Page price or the Lake price. . SO, my bill wasn't as bad. Total trip for 4 days with food, alcohol, (Boat and Truck) fuel, and lake passes was about $1100.

Averaged about .9-1.2 GPM doing 3100-3400 RPM averaging about 32MPH

Great trip on the Lake-good music and video-send some of that water to Lake Mead-thanks for sharing

Great stuff BBY. Looks like the video of BBY underway is in Reflection... Same with the photos of the old tree stumps sticking up with the Amphitheater in the background.

B B Y; sounds like you got to see a lot of lake. congrats on great trip:smt038

san juan arm is great. haven't been up there for a couple of years but there were lot of places to camp and its far enough form both marinas-ends it doesn't seem to get as much traffic. at least the times i was up there it was pretty quiet.

don't have plans past the 4th but going to eave the 310 in a slip till after sept or oct and be coming down a lot

came close to bringing the 230 down to temple this spring and was thinking about you guys.
just couldn't pull the trigger and get going.

mead will just have to make due. the water level are good up here but don't see them staying that way. we had a dry dry winter at steamboat.

got a corvette. bring it back to life and got caught up spending a lot of time on that.

Very cool! I love AZ. I've been on Lake Pleasant but not Powell. I plan to retire in AZ.

We always welcome company-bar is stocked and plenty of food- a couple of wave runners-water temp 80-leaving to day for 5 days-keep a good thought

Great video of Powell. There are very few places that can be so serene and awesome at the same time, we have made 10+ trips to Powell over the years, last being in 2003 when the lake level was very low. Of all the places we have boated Powell is by a wide margin our favorite. I had to chuckle, the tree in the water at about 4:30 in you video brings back a funny memory.. I have a picture of the Admiral standing in it from back in 1986!. We have plans to be there in August for the next few years as our oldest is going to College at NAU in Flagstaff... The College the Admiral attended 30 years ago when we started to make trips to Lake Powell... what goes around comes around

That was full pool, it may be a long time before she gets that full again if it ever does. I've seen it full with out the white ring , its just not the same.

BBY, very nice video. We haven't boated there yet. Our few trips on the boat since we bought a place down there have been to Lk Pleasant. Thanks for sharing the video and pics. Loved 'em.
