Has anyone been to this show, is it worth the trip up to MD. (by car)?

I went a few years ago. There is a lot of brokerage boats. I thought it was a nice selection and nice show! Really enjoyed it.

It's kind of hit and miss in my view. I have gone several times over the last 10 years.

Check the boats that will be there on the web and see if there is something you want to see. The vendor booths are pretty good and Jim will have his mobile there I would think. There will be an eclectic selection for sure.

Oh there will be an awesome boat on display there see my signature. Well at least a picture of it.

I was pretty underwhelmed last year. The vendor booths seemed to be 50% non-boating (a ton of home improvement). The boats themselves were pretty good, but I am not in the market for a boat. :huh: It isn't expensive to get in, so you do get what you pay for.

I am thinking about goint to the show, never been there before. Can you take and dock your boat there?

I do not think so, you might be able to at Hemingways, might want to call. Most of the slips are used for brokerage boats for sale. Maybe mine will be there? Relaxing day to just go look at boats, usually not very crowded.

As for docking at the show. At the fall show in Annapolis they offer a water taxi. Not sure if this show has one.

There is no water taxi there. Nowhere really to tie up your boat if you want to come by boat. Need to come by car. It is a decent show. It has a nice laid back outdoor atmosphere and is at a good time of the year to get your gears switched into boating mode. I think I would chalk it up as "something to do" if you are a boater, but it doesn't have nearly the amount of vendors of the larger shows. We will not have our mobile showroom this year, I'll be using it to haul my son and his stuff to a national kart race. But we will have a bunch of the popular stuff on display in a 10x10 booth.

Was at the boat show today. It was far better than it has been for a few years.
Vary nice boats, new and used, large and small. The venders are better than last year and more boat related. Gave a free BBQ party with a band at 5:00, A+.
