Babies and Boating 101

An oar in one hand, a drink in the other.... your kid is a natural born boater... :)

Oh yeah.
He's that for sure. Both the twins like to go out anytime. Here they are now.

Congrats on the baby girl. My wife and I are expecting our first little boy in April and have had many discussions about what our summer will be like. One thing is for sure, it won't be like last year. Thanks for all of the tips everyone. It helps me with my lobbying effort to the wife that we need to keep the boat!

Todd, please tell me that you have the baby in pink (first photo) either tethered or in some kind of floatation device. I have nightmares about the baby rolling or falling off the boat and into murky water and not being able to find it after diving in after. I know your water is clear there, but still it gives me the willies.

I noticed that too! However, I'm sure that Todd was just taking a picture and was no more than a quick step away and very aware. Not near as bad as the "Michael Jackson-holding-baby-over-balcony" moment. Now that gave me the willies big time as it looked like he almost lost grip. Yikes!!!

No she was just left there for a second for the photo op and sound asleep. She was only 6 weeks old there and couldn't roll over. I see that it looks dangerous, but she wasn't there unattended for more than the time it took to take the shot.

The twins are stitched into their PFDs now(6yo).

Congratulations!!!

Wes, the best lobbying tool is your Son being able to brag on CSR 20 years from now when he has his own boat that his parents took him boating since he was an infant.
