Atlantic City Rendezvous 2011

Rick, GOD no. Menu isn't going to be brought up until april at the earliest. The more pig the better.

Do we have to confirm here or does our (you know) at the (you know) count, too?

I just found out that, since I will only have "one son" on the boat this summer, my wife is bringing her family.... so my in-laws from Alabama will be with me. Who says coolers can't be luggage?

Here's praying for 10' seas that weekend.

I think I'll make my pig desserts out of corn-muffins

Damn! Couldn't pick a date later in July? I'm booked two weekends in a row for weddings on the 9th and 16th.

Doug

I thought you already had a woman.

Now you're gonna marry two, one right after the other? They call that bigamy down South. What do they call it up North?

You can count me in...

Has anyone cruised from Cape Cod to NJ..........Cruise right through, stops, total time, etc.....Just think it is too long unless I took a week...

We took a trip from NJ to Provincetown last year. Don't recall the times offhand, but I'll check my logs Monday and let you know the times from the different points. I would think you could do it in two days though, or one looong day.

You bringing the magic slush machine?

I made it from Atlantic City, NJ to Mystic, CT in one day... but that was a long day... and the weather gods were on my side. I think the best he could do is 2 days and more likely 3... but other people up there probably know better.

I think I will bring it, what flavors go good with pork?

I just took a quick look at the charts, AC to P-Town is about 260 Nautical miles or so (Staying on the south shore of LI) so I guesss at least 2 or 3 days is about right.

I guess, it all depnds on what's the primary goal, just to get to the final destination or enjoy and take time at each stop in between. I just thought that all the areas that are along the way have very much to offer. I personally would make a nice trip out of it and spend extra time in different port.

Oh, absolutely. That would be the way to do it, I was just looking at the minimum time to be able to do it.

If I had to make the trip, I would definately try to do it in two weeks or so and see everything along the way.
