Atlantic City Rendezvous 2011

Were in... We don't plan on waiting out any more storms at anchor......

C'mon Rod, that was just great experience. What an introduction to a great spot .

I'm glad you're in.

Thats my new favorite spot... The place we were originally anchored, not the place a half mile away where we dragged our anchors to... Here's a pic from my new fav spot in calm water late summer:

here's a pict of my day I introduced to the spot prior to our repositioning by the the storm:

Rod,

Hopefully, with my new SS large anchor with all chain will keep us in the same spot regardless if your windlass breaker trips again. LOL.

Alex:

New guy on the F-dock buys the first round....each day....Oh....and makes mudslides all Saturday afternoon.....Oh....and have people spill stuff on their new rugs.....

Congrats on the new boat...

Alex, We are look forward to some fun raft ups this summer... The Barnegat Light spot is tops on our list... BTW, did you sell your dingy with Boat a Bing?

... BTW, did you sell your dingy with Boat a Bing?

I would say no... (unless the new boat had the same dinghy and motor )

Engine(s): T-Cummins 450Cs Streight-Drives, 12.5KW Onan Generator, 4HP Tohatsu for tender.

He's not joking either.

Rod, Greg is right, we're keeping our dinghy for now until we get a "real" dinghy. The PO had an awesome dinghy, but they took it to be used on their new boat. But, at least I know what dink I want next.

He's not joking either.

In that case I better have few of those mudslides myself, so I can react to the situation appropriatelly....LOL

No..... Mike is the king of mudslides. It's his title and he's keeping it.

Mike may retain his 'King' title, but doesn't release you from your F-Dock initiation duties.....your still on the hook....so to speak...

You just bring your chair with the seat belt on it. We don't want you having too many mudslides and toppling over into someone's slip.

Hey Ron, I know it's a long way off, but pulled up the Marina and scheduled events and we're not listed. Just thought I could pay in advance? What's this sh--- about "Newbie's" and the F Dock?

Marshall
We are not really an "event." You wouldn't find it on their website. As for newbies on F dock, I think someone was just trying to make a funny. F dock is where the big boys go. Little pipsqueaks like us are on H dock, newbie or not. I think the max LOA on H is 42' b/c of the width of the fairway. You'll be on H with all us 30 somethings.

You can call farley anytime and give them your CC#. Tell them you're with the Searay Group and they'll have you on the manifest. This is mandatory but I haven't bugged people to start calling yet since it's pretty far off.

Hey....don't go letting the newbies off so easy.....there's free mudslides in that initiation ceremony.....We will allow the newbies to pool their resources....but the glasses have to be bigger....:)

Thanks Ron, I'll do that.

Hey Dom, don't forget to lay out the "Hazmat Boom" over at F Dock. The Admiral makes a great mudslide and puts a little EX-tra chocolate flavoring in them!
