Atlantic City Rendezvous 2011

I stole the picture from one of Gary's posts from last year. I think I broke some copyright laws by not posting a foot note.

It looks like I volunteered to do the name tags since Frank C is bailing on us this year.

Attendees-
Please send me the following in a PM:

First name of each attendee on your boat (including kids)-everyone needs a name tag to get to the food
Your CSR Screen name
City and State you live in
Name of your boat
Make and model of your boat

The name tags will look something like this:

If you have invited other boats/boaters who are on the list but not members of this forum and cannot see this post, please be so kind as to provide the same info for them so that I can print most of this stuff in advance.

Thanks!

It would be much easier if the marina allowed grilling, but since they don't we have to prep most things in advance. As you know, anythig from the grill doesn't taste the same a day later. So, we're trying to come up with something else.

I LOVE leftover lobster......Bring all the precooked tails you can fit.....I'll draw the butter on my cooktop ..... :)

Dom,

You've got a big competitor, my little guy LOVES lobsters. Anytime there's one on the table there's nothing left.

Anyway, I thought that new folks were obligated to bring lobsters.... What happened? Are we settling for blue clows crabs?

New guys bring the fresh whole lobsters......Those with new-to-them-big-honkin-diesel-bridge-boats are obligated to bring the leftover lobster tails ....

Holy Crow. I actually had to work a little today and look at all I missed. Here's a digital media file for the newbies...

The ending was perfect: "Put out that Dog Rocket!".

Fun to see everyone that we met for the first time - and to see Sue "working the The Table of the Gods"!

Thanks Ron!

Thanks to the efforts of the Cruise Director last night, we are proceeding nicely on the Guest List/Name Tag List.

However, I still need wife/spouse/Admiral and crew/kids first names from the following folks:

Family Ties
Madame Butterfly
RosieKay
M&Ms Beach House
Nervous Mom
Golden Stok
The Hankster

If you have questions or additions to your crew list, please do not hesitate to PM me.

The Cruise Director is still in charge of bugging everyone until they commit to some sort of covered dish for Friday night.

With the trip a mere 2 weeks away, we still only have 10 people who stepped up with a food offering. Let's hear from everyone who plans on attending the Table Of The Gods on Friday evening - if you have sponsored a friend who is perhaps not on CSR, let them know PLEASE!

Are they getting the message yet?

We will be at dinner on Friday. Sorry no fresh lobsters here, but we will bring a Orzo, shrimp and asparagus salad, Mojito Bars and cookies for after dinner sweets.

Dave
