Atlantic City Rendezvous 2011

Dave
Need boat name. That's how Farley keeps track.
RON

FrankH - pulled pork - so noted.

Hey Gary...
Got it. I'll let them know. Give them a call next week with your CC info.
RON

Thanks Ron. I'll talk to Gail about bringing a dish. Is there a list so we don't bring the same as some one else? Gary

Gary,

Check the first post in this thread.

Ron,

We will be bringing "Magma Ribs", broccoli slaw, Oreo balls, and the slushy machine with Strawberry Daiquiris and Pina Coladas.

Ron,

Boat's name is Living. We are taking the boat! When I figure out what to bring Fiday I will let you know.

Dave

Launched early last Friday, Ron. Definitely not attending this year. Looks like I'll be busy around that weekend.

Gary
First post has the offerings thus far. See you tomorrow.

Dave
Glad you're a definite. I think Marshall (Bugsy) is going to be part of the convoy too - he's coming down from the Manasquan.

Greg
Got it. UMMMmmmmmm - slushy machines!!! THANKS!

Frank
Sorry you wont be making it. I'll let Farley know. They are so f'd up over there right now. Hard to get a hold of.

Farley sent me a roster of 34 boats. I only have 33. There's a guy named KEN K. on their list that I do not have on mine. Does anyone know who this is? I'm not referring to Ken G. from Dominic's homeowner's association. This is an unidentified Ken (last initial K).

A little help here...
Thanks

Table of the Gods:

Peruvian Grilled Chicken
Veggie TBD
Palm Beach Brownies (death by chocolate)
Let me know what you need for sundries.

Rich

Got it Rich. Thanks. M&M's Beach House has committed to paper products and such - no other sundries required.

Never thought this would happen but I have to close down this trip for now. Farley has told me they are filled to capacity for the weekend of July 8. They have roughly 80 transient slips - we have now ballooned to 33 boats and until they sort out the slips, they are not taking any more reservations.

Again, putting out an APB on Ken K. (I don't want to publicly broadcast the last name). Farley says he has a 53' Seajet (?) Never heard of this make of boat unless they mis-heard, but I doubt they'd confuse a Searay for Seajet.

They are going to put me over on the H-dock.......H-Dock RULES!!!!!!! F-Dock is for Fuddy-Duddy's .....

Organizing is really pretty simple. Pick a date, listen to a few people complain about said date, negotiate the date and etch it in stone. Call for a slip, tell every one you called, supply them with the phone number and whoever wants to go books his/her own slip. .......!

Oh Mr. cruise director.....remember.....you like this job....

I am looking at Post #1 and I see some folks have yet to commit to their covered dish for the Friday night Table of the Gods.

Mr. Cruise Director, sir. Please correct me if I am wrong. In order to make it behind the velvet rope to where the Friday night feast is located, everyone in your party must have a name tag issued by the group and every boat must bring a dish or contribute in some manner to the Table.

YOU ARE CORRECT! Everyone's mama told them to never go somewhere empty handed.

I will sell my slot for $40/foot....
So I'm taking you off the list? What, you're re-doing your kitchen too?
