since there is no embarrassed Emoticon, I will just apologize. My recent post that we're selling our boat caused some issues for Jim which I regret. I meant really to share with our great community here that we're in a transistion and to share our excitement for the 260DA we're eyeing. I was seeing and appreciating the feedback. Also, I never intended it to be an ad:
Here's what I sent Jim as an apology:

Jim,
Sorry, I really didn't mean for this to be an ad. I was just sharing that I was putting her up for sale. I suppose my linking the Craiglist ad is sure appears that I'm taking advantage and I'm sorry if that caused you an issue. Feel Free to remove the post if you wish. I don't want it to be a burden. Since we are doing some other "home" projects I won't get serious to place a pay ad until the end of June> This is when I can afford to get the other boat hopefully and I don't do well not owning one.

Again sorry for the issue this has caused,
Skol,
Todd
Anyway thanks for your input. I have not seen the 2003 260DA in person yet but will press once we go down there to verify all that is included and if there is missing Canvas to be found.
Sorry for the misunderstanding everyone.

the boat looks real nice. I hope it all works out for you because we just love our Sundancer. The best of all worlds!

Mike

PS: (totally off topic) All your emails/posts end with "Skol" What is that an acronym for? :smt017

What year is that 260DA, because it looks like an 2003 model which we bought about 2 weeks ago. We love the boat and hopefully we'll be out in it on Saturday. We were having it detailed this week and can't wait to see how that turned out.

I think Todd stated this before but I thought it is a Scandinavian term for "Cheers".
Makc, Wish2Fish has it right, Skol is what I'd say if we were have a cold one
Devilrays, yep it's a 2003,
Gary......you wish(I think)

Thanks Guys!

Was watching After the catch a spin off of the deadliest catch the other night and sure enough as they go to take there drink everyone said Skol. I laughed and said Todd would be proud.

I went to High School with Sig and Edgar. My Brother had a beer with Sig last week and my Dad just retired from Ballard Oil which fuels most of those boats before they head to AK. You may have seen the guy who cut his finger nearly off wearing the Ballard Oil t-shirt
It's my favorite show.

The interview "After the Catch" you saw was from the Lockspot, a long time favorite for the Fishing fleet. I eat lunch there every once in awhile when in Ballard

:smt119 Oh man! Wait'll my wife reads this, and I tell her I know someone who knows Sig and Edgar! That's her favorite crew on Deadliest Catch. That show has us captivated.

My wife and I are totally hooked to Deadlest Catch as well. what a great show!

We love our 250DA. I'm sure the 260 is even better. For sure it's newer.

When longlining for halibut in Cook Inlet/Gulf of Alaska, I got a job offer on a crab boat in the Bearing Sea during the winter. I didn't take the job.

Watching Deadliest Catch once in a while reinforces the wisdom of that decision. Going after halibut was hard work enough. I have great respect for commercial fishermen wherever they work, but particularly for those in AK waters IN THE WINTER.

My Dad says the NWstern is down at Ballard Oil. I'll try to take a pic tomorrow and post it.

The Cornelia Marie is there too, I think

One night I got distracted and lost count. After that it just wasn't the same. Now I'll have to watch the reruns and start over.

Just remember last weeks episode is one right before the new one. So you can catch up quickly.
