Just curious if anyone here still owns a boat and has any interest in actually discussing them?

It's just an observation but CSR has done its quarterly nose dive into Jr. High locker room jokes, binary codes and pissing contests.

Even with my minimal IQ, I think we can raise the intelligence level a few notches .........just sayin.

Kinda getting old......yawn.
.

Well I just returned from the Marina store with $175 worth of plug wires, dist. cap., rotor, high performance lube, etc. and am doing a tune up in about 10 min. So there you have some good old fashioned boat talk!

Hey Tonka...I'm pouring in the pink stuff tomorrow...how long are you staying afloat?
I heard tell of snow flurries Sunday....WTF, the trees are still green here.

Very cool.

I filled up yesterday for the last time this season and pumped the head real good 3 or 4 times while flushing with fresh water. Gonna drain the fresh water tank this weekend, take out the carpets, scrub everything top to bottom, wax and pull it on 10/19 for winter storage.

Ooops, we were replying at the same time. I have it scheduled to be pulled on the 19th. Yes, talk of flurries this weekend....too dang early. Won't last thankfully.

so who did you stimulate with the $175? My options for parts are either Hern in Fairfield or SeaRay Cincinnati. I have been going to Hern as the owner is a creek neighbor of mine.

Good thread! Pulling the boat Saturday at 3:30 PM.

Which is good because it is a day before the first forecasted snow of the year for SW Michigan.

Driving in circles.
Just dropped in two new motors and need to get past the break in. Depends on the weather how far we go from home.

Seriously, this is the tiki bar...(hint, off topic) The place to discuss anything BUT boats..."Shoot the bull with fellow CSR members, non boating discussion."

And in the other threads, they start off as boat discussions but once the topic has been discussed thoroughly it is natural for the conversation to wander.

As for me, if it was all just boat talk, Id be here maybe once a month and not be sponsoring, small contribution as it may be.

EDIT: Actually reading through the general discussion, only 1 topic is away from boating discussion, the binary thread from kevinnice. And the four suns thread...well after 15+ pages it was bound to happen!

Not this time  It was only a joking comment in light of the previous thread and not to a client. I have already embedded it several times in emails to friends to see if they pick up on it.

You know... I was sitting on my BOAT at the dock yesterday, when I thought to myself what a loser Obama is for thinking that the American people can be duped into buying all of this healthcare crap when my REEL started spinning like crazy...

Are these newer motors than the ones from Atlantic City? What happened to the other ones? I know you mentioned oil leaks that day, but I thought it was only one engine?
