we're still getting some nice days on the water.

just wonder if anyone else is. i like this time of year. its nice and quiet.

I don't expect to get out before the New Year but yeah shortly thereafter we'll be heading out. It's just too busy right now.

todd; we are lucky to have water soft enough to still boat on. good luck when you do go out.

Just took my 330 from Long Beach to Newport Harbor last Friday for the Christmas boat parade. It was pretty bad weather out; wind, rain, fog. Crazy thing is that the parade had at least 25 knot winds and there were still 100 footers out there winding their way through some really thin channels with strong cross winds.....at night and in the rain. All of them put alot of time and money into it as always and I have a new respect for some of those captain's skills out there. One wrong move and they could be blown into docks with million dollar yaghts all over the place, and there were some fairly close calls where I was moored. It was fun despite the lousy weather. Long Beach harbor water was horrendous from the rain when I got back, looked like I was driving in coffee.

Just got back from Temple Bar Marina-Lake Mead -the water was fantastic but lake level is way down-1083 from it's high of 1220!

Took my oldest daughter and 3 granddaughters (3, 4 & 8) out to Caladesi Island this past Friday. Nice day ~70 and calm. The beach was full of live stone crabs (large) and conchs, blown up from a storm the week earlier.

Our boat is still in the water... Ice... I winterized on Nov 29th... I will be dropping in my underwater fan soon...

We have been on "low tide " since mid summer, Today's hi-76, low 60.....

Spent the day on the lower Columbia river.

Hey Gary, what mountian is that with snow on it in your pic?

that is looking north out of halls bay at mt. ellen. it is 11,522' and anchors the north end of the henery mountains.

the other one is coming out of the canyon entrance to halls bay near the main channel

As you can tell by the quality of many threads, not so much! Thanks for sharing the great pics with us shut ins.

thank-you, for noticing.

was trying to send a little holiday cheer and maybe brighten someones day.:smt024

We are on the water and expect to be all winter :) Our location is Sanibel Island, Florida. It got just above 70 with a water temp of 57 today. The camper top helps us survive the cold

We would be on the water if the mechanic would finish replacing the bellows on my stern drive. We had a cold snap come through and all the people that failed to winterize called and demanded his "immediate attention". So, I got sidelined. I won't get the boat back until well after Xmas now. As soon as we get it back, we'll be back out.

I was out yesterday evening for a short run. Will be out tomarrow on a seatrial and survey down in Venice at the MarineMax. If all goes well we will have a new ride by Dec 29th.

We are in one of the covered slips at Temple Bar year round-been to LMM and had service work done by Gary and Bruce and their crew-outstanding marina and staff-going up to the lake for New Years!

still boating in the Hampton Roads area as well.....little bit of snow on the dock.....but hey...it's winter.....Admirla comes back today, after a 7 month deployment and tomorrow I start a week off for the holidays....planning on doing some boat shopping.......moving up to larger with diesels....
Hope everyone has a great holiday....remember..."Shiny side up"
Cheers
Pete

Does this count. We are going new years eve party close to the city our boat is in and are going to spend the night in the boat inside the heated storage unit. LOL
