So we have some company this week, all 4 bedrooms spoken for and one guest left...
Rather than the couch, or an air mattress, I figured the boat is better.
A quick run through on how to use the head, operate the Sat tv, air conditioners and lighting. Total privacy for the guest. So far it's a thumbs up...

'Course, it helps that the boat is at the house. But I was wondering who else might have sent their overnight guests to their boat (even at a nearby marina) when the house accomodations were full?

Yes thats where my out of town friends stay.
So far they all loved it !!. :smt001
Plus they clean the boat better than I do before they leave.

I sleep on the boat and put the guests in the house! It's just easier and I sleep better!

Rod, I guess you don't like the very very clean freaks on your boat then ??. :smt043

Myself and kids will stay on the boat.......Too many things can go wrong on the boat unsupervised. It also becomes a toy to them.......I have one rule anyway even when I go away with a couple or two.....I will get you a hotel room.....Just works out better.....I have worked hard and I am not in college anymore.....

My buddy and his wife come in town for a long weekend every year, and they always ask to stay on the boat. They love it, and really have taken to boating so much (because of these visits) that having a cruiser is part of their retirement strategy.
