Anyone else sick of winter??

skiing was interesting today, only a few more weeks, and I'm going to be ready to hang up the skis for the season.

Winter? LOL it was 86F here today, but because I clearly have issues, have not been able to stop tearing the boat apart, and can't get it back together fast enough to get to a lake.:smt089

The worst part about it is that I had invitations to go to Park City and Albany for a week each with a guy who writes articles for ski magazine for FREE.
All I had to do was get there. I couldn't make either one becasue of important things going on at work. :smt013

Oh well... At least I'll have money for fuel this year... And with these fuel prices, most of the Chesapeake Bay... all to myself.

Just pulled the bubbler on the dock and hosed it off. Sure lots easier to clean these things when they come out of cold water vs. removing them from warm water with grass growing on them.

Do the islands patrol to protect against the pirates? Are you armed when you go out or is pretty safe in the restricted areas?

You are going to have to change your name:smt043... What kind of Ski Bum puts work above skiing... I would never let work interfer with skiing... I am at about day 40 so far this ski season, with three days to go... We plan to end our ski season at Mount Snow, VT on Apr 1... No, I am not tried of winter... Just wish the big mountains were closer...

Nice thing about winter is I have have time to save money for boating season... :thumbsup:Nothing is more expensive than boating:smt089... Not that there is anyth wrong with that...

Ummm... you need to connect me with your ski mag guy. I've got access to cheap flights. and have a blast @ Park City!!!

And a true ski bum would never let work get in the way - trust me, there are tons of granolies in this state that think that way!

Sorry, just saw this. The snow was good, but packy. As soon as you skied over it, it would freeze. So, it was getting worse as the day wore on. The powder from Monday was all hardened and made for a good base, with 2" or so of new snow.
