anybody with original Clarion stereo system

I have the oringinal Clarion radio/cassette player with 6 dish cd changer. The other owner installed 2 subwoofers. I do not hear the subs when playing the system. I can't find a seperate subwoofer control on the Clarion. Is there one? If not then I would need to turn up volume from the Sony amp.

there isn't one. Usually they hook it up to the amplifier.

Hi Rick. thanks for the information. I will check the settings on the amp. They must have the sub output set very low. They did put in 2 JB audio 10" subwoofer speakers built into a custom box. I know they will sound good cause I have the same speakers in my truck. I will be changing out the stereo soon, so I will be able to control the sub volume from stereo.
