As you can see from my signature I have a 2005 320. I tried searching but did not find what I was looking for. I have installed a junction box next to the cabin TV and I am splitting the antenna signal from the glomex. I have a cockpit TV that I use on occasion and currently I am just letting the cable run loose from the cabin to the TV that i mount near the cockpit sink. Does anyone know how I can get the cable routed from the cabin to near the cockpit sink? I can get it to the head compartment, but I'm stuck after that.
Thanks for any advise
Rich

Need more information: do you have a Digital Antenna (like a Glomax) previous installed from the factory or are you using a cable tv service on your dock. If a glomax then there should be a Glomax control somewhere - all cable would be routed from there. If running a cable from the Dock. Then run a "Floaded" Coax Cable (-- which is filled with a sticky liquid which keeps it from corrosion) to the Glomax control / or to where you would like to install your splitter (remember splitter should be capable of 1 GHz or better for new Digital Signals. From Splitter to locations (which will be difficult, will need to remove many access panels) if you need to cross over from Port to starbaord, etc the do this near the helm or engine compartment -- most side panels in cabin are removable to gain access to the electrical run ways.

Hope this helps

Rich, you should be able to trace the coax cable from where it comes in back by the shore power connections and follow it from there.

I could be wrong but, it sounds like the OP want's to split the signal AFTER the gain control and feed a line back to the cockpit. I did basically the same thing on my satellite install. I split the feed to the fwd tv after converting it to coax cable.
I'm not sure of the layout on the 320 but, I was able to feed my lines behind the microwave on my boat to the cockpit with a 10' wallfish. I also had to pull out my cockpit refrigerator to get it to the arch area. I hope this is helpful.

Todd,
That is exactly what I am trying to do -- feed a cable to the cockpit. I managed to work back to behind the head compartment but I am at a roadblock from there.
Thanks all for responding
Rich

I went the other direction with mine when I installed my TVon the bulkhead wall. Behind your TV is a panel and inside a cable splitter. I changed mine to a 3 pole instead of the two that was there, from there a ran the cable under the berth, where the A/C unit is, then up behind the closet onthe starboard side, up behind the cabinets, and into the electrical cabinet…then through the wall and into the fuse block section in the cockpit compartment at the foot of the helm. Once your there you can go anywhere you want in the cockpit. I had access panel in the cabinets on the starboard side that made the run easier.

Here is a link if you have not found it already. http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/23921-26-inch-LED-TV-install?highlight=install
