I've finally joined here after being at SRO. I guess looking at all the ice and snow hasn't gotten me in the boating mood, until now. There's actually some open water on the St. Croix now! Only another month or two. We really need to move south.

We have a 1998 210SD that we trailer all over Wisconsin. My in-laws live on the bay in Sturgeon Bay, WI, so we spend a lot of the summer weekends in Door County. We also spend some time on the Madison lakes, and of course the St. Croix. Any time we're not boating we're working to pay for gas.

I lived a few years of my childhood in Baldwin WI, not far from Hudson. I lived there from the time I was 10 to 15 years old. How many months of boating season do you get? I remember some long 6 month winters. :grin:

Unfortunately the 6 month winters are still here. In spring the water level seems to be a bigger factor. Not many ramps open if it's too high, which brings it down to a five month boating season some years. :smt009

Good to see you on the board. The winters are long so we play a little harder in the short time we have. We to enjoy Sturgeon Bay and Door County. The snow is gone here in Waukesha and the ice is just about out at our marina. Were headed in the right direction.
