I know that others have posted filters, however, I decided to make one myself.
The basic body is 2" PVC. It comes apart in the middle so that the charcoal medium that you use can be replaced every year.
At any rate, here it is:

The individual parts before glue up:

Parts List:
2each: 1 1/2” x 1” PVC Bushing
2each: 2” x 1 1/2” DWV Reducer/Increaser
2each: ¾ x 1/2” FE Hose to Barb (If you can find ¾ x 5/8” itwould be better)
1each: 2” DWV Male Adapter
1each: 2” DWV Female Adapter
2each: 1” x 3/4” PVC Male Adapter
1each: 1” x 2' PVC pipe
1each: 2” x 2' PVC Pipe

To keep the charcoal medium in (in my case, I am using cat litter), you need to block passage thru the gaarden hose fittings. So, I used a pot scrubber that I cut some material from and then put it into the feet of an old pair of panty hose. Then you just stuff it into the ends of the rub goldberg special.

.

Then use PVC primer and cement to put the parts together:

Unscrew the center and put whatever charcoal medium that you are using in the shell:

.
I installed it by using tie wraps to fasten the filter to one of the hold down straps for my waste tank:

.
Since the garden hose connection is 3/4" x 1/2" barbed, that means that an 1/2" ID hose will connect to the barb.
My stink vent hosing is 5/8" ID, so, I had to buy 1/2" x 5/8" nylon barbed splicers and some 3/4" OD x 1/2" ID BR Vinyl Tubing. When you want to change the charcoal medium, cut the tie wraps, remove the filter, unsrew it in the center and dump the old material. replace with new material and re-install.

Looks great except for one thing. You are creating a sump by fastening the filter assembly down to the tank. If it were me, I would be tying it up so that your piping is running steadily uphill from the top of the tank to the vent fitting in the side of the hull. This sump has the potential of creating a trap & holding liquid that will not allow positive ventilation. Suit yourself though.

Good call, however, there is no way to mount it so that it runs uphill. Any suggestions?
BTW: I have checked with several other people on my dock and they all have their stink filters mounted in a similar fashion.
No one has stated any concern about a potential issue.
