Your first grounding always sucks I've done it. Like you I was going slow enough to not get totally stuck but it did kill the engine and scraped up the skeg good so I sanded and repainted. Just a suggestion though you probably sucked up some sand and sand and impellers don't mix I wouldn't say you have to replace it immediatly but it should be on your list of things to do sooner then later. Rather replace it before it goes bad then be on the water and have it fail and be stuck.
