Yea, if only I could find the chain size that I need I would be over and done with it; I will give it another try over the weekend.
Amazon. Weird but they deliver chain.

Ok, here's an update and a question for you: I found the chain and I bought 25 mt of 10 mm galvanised chain. The windlass is working fine but now the admiral says that this is too much weight concentrated on the front. 25 mt should weight about 54 kg or 118 pounds. The question is: is this really an issue for a 9,500 lb yacht?
Thank you!!! I'm afraid I'll try to make them locally....Ah! That makes more sense. Yes, they are made from a special plastic/rubber type material called Delrin. Check on Windline's website to see if you can find the size (width/diameter of spool end/shaft diameter) you need. Some of the anchor rollers were made special for Sea Ray by Windline, so if you can't find the size you need, try contacting Windline directly. Be forewarned that Delrin is not cheap. I actually skimped on one of mine and just used a PVC winch stand bow roller. I imagine it won't last as long as the Delrin, but so far so good.
Wow...Well done!! The old one looks like the one on your picture.....My anchor rollers are 4" wide (not in diameter). I couldn't find them commercially available and end up making my own with a lathe and a cylinder of Delrin.
