I'll pass. What a PITA to store when you deploy the anchor, not to mention that you'd have to go forward to remove it before you drop the anchor and again to put it back on when you raise it.

It's like putting a big rubber bumper on the front fender of your car "in case you hit something"...

I can't believe any entrepreneur with enough money to spend on design, tooling, patents, marketing, etc. would "invest" their money in something so stupid.

Maybe for sail boats and people who dock bow 1st,to protect people walking by. we’ve had a few transient sail boaters stay on our dock and they always have their anchor sticking out taking up ½ the main dock
