the thread listing says 1986 or older, but I'm a new owner of a 1989 model - doesn't really seem to fit with the other areas of this forum.

Can I come in? Boat is in good shape but as with any boat it needs stuff and I'll be needing help.

Welcome to Club SeaRay, I don't run the joint but come on in, if you are not classic enough today just hang out a little while and you will be. You will want to update your signature with your boat information, year, make, model, engines and drive system. Again welcome to the club.

yeah I will - -just got home with it about 90 minutes ago.

where's the beer icon?

Flat glass boats and radar arches that lean aft are where it's at!

hey sundancer - my folks lived in Spokane for a time - lake courdelane (sp). beautiful lake. Deep SOB too.

I'm having difficulty changing my sig line - guess too stoopid for this site...

Lake CDA is a little busy for us. It's fun before Memorial Day and after Labor Day! We usually head up to Lake Pend Oreille where the depths are around 1,200 feet with sheer cliffs rising right out of the water. We just don't tell people about it because it will get busy and I'll have to share my own personal ramp with somebody else!!

I probably set up this area in 2004, so I should update the description every year! I'll change it to 1989 so boats 20 years old or more are included.

That makes the most sense Jim. The cruisers after 1989 changed a lot.

Hey Joe, I told if you stuck around a little while you would be classic enough, they changing the range to fit.

Well come to think about it it was about 20 years ago when I was there - not too busy then.

I guess I'm a trend setter...

Well, found my first project - the previous owner has a Doel fin bolted on which is coming off, but it was torqued too tight and the cavitation plate is cracked - there will be about a 2" square chunk that will fall off. I missed that when I bought it...

Planning to use a 3/16" aluminim plate to rivet on the underside in the same shape. Thought about welding but I'm not trusting of most welders skills when bearings and seals are involved and not ready to pull the whole thing off yet.
