Hi all. I'm new to boating and I need some help on how the power outlets work on my boat. I live in Sydney Australia and have a Sea Ray 315 sundancer 2006 model. In the States it's known as a 280DA sundancer. When I'm connected to shore power I can't get the AC outlets to work. All outlets have power adapters to convert U.S to Australia plugs. Any help would be appreciated. This is the boat for reference.
thanks in advance

If the breakers are turned on, check to see if your GFCI outlets need to be reset. There is a test and reset button on them. There is generally one GFCI receptacle on each side of the boat. (at least there are on our boat)

No these have the single 2 round pin outlets and I have the Australian adapters in them. No resets on these ones.
The outlets used to work fine a couple months back

Wahoo, the GFCI referred to above by electricaldoctor is sort of like a RCD switch which can trip. The GFCI's are generally placed in cupboards and other hideyholes around the boat in the vicinity of each power outlet. They may be "daisychained" in that if one of the GFCI's up the line goes down it may be effecting the others down the line. In any case you need to individually locate these and see if they have tripped or are faulty as electricaldoctor previously suggested.

Your manual may give you further information as to their location on your boat.

Ok I will take some pics of the outlets and search around for the trip switches next weekend and post what I come up with. Thanks guys. Really appreciate the help

Two items that were not discussed (maybe because they were too obvious) but did you check the circuit breakers where the shore power connects to the boat in the transom locker and check the circuit breakers on the electrical panel (set to shore power and AC outlets on). Are you getting power to the panel? Are all the outlets not working? The outlet under the cockpit sink is usual suspect for a GFCI trip
