I had the same issue it turns out mine was caused by a pinched hose under the head. This was obviously caused from improper installation from the factory. I had to replace my carpet and run a new drain hose from the sink.

Does this happen only after rain? If it comes in the port window, there should be other signs of water in the head.

You might check the shower sump anyway, it may be under the step. Fill it with water and make sure it pumps out.

If the head portlight is leaking, there is a very good chance it will leak between the side wall of the head enclosure and the boat hull side. The water will then end up in the sump area, outside of the box.

As noted above, though, checking for proper operation of the sump pump is a good first step.

I had the exact same thing with my 2006 Sea Ray 260 Sundancer and the windows on the starboard side were loose ! Tighten all the screws around the windows , you will see some of them will be loose !On mine once I tightened the screws the leak stopped !

Several Years back I started a posting about some water leaks I had on my 2006 260DA. You might want to take the time to look at this posting. http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/5575-Best-way-to-find-water-leaks?highlight=water

Even though it is mentioned in the above posting, it is possible the culprit could also be a faulty sump pump in the shower box. That is pretty easy to check out. Just run water down the shower drain and make sure the sump kicks on. If the pump is bad, water will overflow the shower sump and soak the carpet just like yours is doing. I also had a problem early on with the caulking in the head where the front panel (where the door is mounted) was not caulked properly at the bottom. This also allowed water to leak out and soak the carpet just like yours. So check that caulking as well.

yes JimG , youre right around the port window exactly front of in rainy weathers this place always wet we put towels on it the shower sump is working but the old owner said that the rain water comes trough the head port and goes to the shower drain to the shower sump under the step
and this rain water is not enough for bilge , i take all water from the shower sump area with sponge but its still wet carpet but after i take water with sponge it was decrease, maybe it will be dry later because in istanbul the weather so cold snowy -3 degree
