Where can I get the best price for Ablative Boat Paint (black Gallon)... I usually buy it a WM, but have looked on-line, and I have not found any deals... Could we do a quantity buy for CSR by region?

Rod,
I just take it in the shorts each year. I think I pay around $229.00 a gallon at WM. I am using the muti-season ablative stuff the Robert used on the boat before me. I think it's just another one of those things that you have to bend over and take!

WM usually has some specials. I'd call them and ask if they know when it's coming.

Pettit is running a $5 to $20 per gallon rebate program. You can down load the rebate form and details from their site. Last year I found the best price on Hydrocoat at wholesalemarine.com. This year even with shipping it looks like Jamestown may be better.

$135.78 - $10 at Wholesalemarine... for Hydrocoat... I would like to get it for under a $100 a gallon... I need three gallons... As Alex suggests, WM runs specials that might be better... I have to make sure I don't miss the opportunity to buy the paint when it goes on sale... I will keep you all posted if I find a good deal.. .

Blue Water Marine Paints makes a water based ablative paint that I have on my boat. Applied nicely, worked perfectly. Got great reviews. I used the "make an offer" button at their ipaints web store, and they delivered 2 gallons to my door for $169.

I found the best price at Jamestown then did the price match at WM and since it was over $100 they shipped it for free -just call there 800# with the info and they will price match .....I used Pettit Ultima SR 60 and got the rebate!!

I agree. Wholesale Marine had the best prices.
