Past or present, I don't care, I just love dogs.

Ill start. We had twin basset hounds when the kids were home, they both passed pretty close to each other about the time our youngest graduated and went out on his own. We were happily pet free for a few years until my sons Husky got out and got herself knocked up. My wife fell in love with one of the pups. He is without a doubt the most well behaved dog we have owned, just perfect. My wife can not leave him, he has to go with us everywhere.

I present to the good people of CSR, Rush

Beautiful pup!

The parents raised Huskies and had one champ (conformance). The dogs were and absolute blast!
However with four of them, the spring cleanup in the back yard after the snow melted away was a bit of a bitch.

Through the years, my wife has bought four, yes FOUR dogs for our youngest, and, as expected, we've ended-up with all four of them. The latest is a pair of Pomeranians, of which the female took a shine to me right off the bat.
This is Belle:

It's hard to imagine just how much hair that thing can produce, and do it twice a year! 'Turns out, she loves to travel with us. Here she is just after returning from one of our trips:

I practically had to drag her our of the RV. It should be interesting to see how she takes to being in the boat once it's in a running state.

Typical evening relaxing with Pikachu and the missus:

My parent had 2 Pomeranians, yappiest barking things I ever met, and I LOVE dogs. They ended up given them away.

I had 2 big Akitas who I tried many times to bring on the boat, it wasn't meant to be. The were like bulls in a china store. I had 2 smaller dogs at the same time, they loved the boat, except for separation anxiety when we left them in the cabin to go to dinner.

Yeah, they sure can tend to be that way. I worked with ours from day 1 to try to curb that response. 'Not 100%, but livable. Here's Belle with her attitude towards our female Lhasa Apso. Watch for the hip-check at 5 seconds:

Love the hip check. And yeah, that's how my parents little monsters always behaved, and god forbid someone make a noise...cover your ears.

Because she's a turd! For those of you who don't care for what could be the incessant yapping of Poms, keep in mind that mine are usually set off by the daughter's POS Dachshund. You'll need sound to fully appreciate this display:
