April 16... I hope!

we are shooting for early april

May 16 we are shooting for this year. A little later then normal. This past fall we had high waters, and with all the snow it is going to be a LONG FLOOD season. We are in a cove and pretty protected from the dead heads. Still no fun out in high fast waters with monster trees floating down river. When she goes in that water she will be waxed, buffed, polished and teak all oiled and looking sharp!

I'm hoping I can convince them to put me in the end of March...

Last year was April 7th- there was still ice on parts of the lake. This year who knows? I hope before May but if we get anymore snow it could be a while. :smt089

Early April. My town marina is not open until the first Saturday in May but, my buddie's marina where I winter store will let me stay there until they need the slip!:smt038

The last couple years it's been April 1st, but you know what? The weather in early April stinks. If it isn't snowing, there's 18 foot waves on the lake and 3 foot waves in the marina. With no other boats in the water, the waves in the marina richochet around and the end result is the 340 and my docklines take a beating. There have been many cases where I have had to brave the snow and 50 mph winds to check on the boat and re-tie the lines as they stretch. I'm not mobile enough anymore to do that crap.

I think I will wait until after April 15th this year, depending on weather. Projected launch date most likely be closer to May than March.

Wow,I dont blame you - I would wait also, or move!

Hopefully 1st week of April .Had to go deep sea fishing last Thursday to the mudhole wreck fishing for a winter fix to hold me over . MOST EASTCOASTERS should know where that is ?

I do know where that is, must have been chilly catch anything?
I love the name of your boat - combines my two favorite hobbies! :smt043:smt043

April 15th......

Nice - I am shooting for April 1. The marina is going to pull her inside to blast/barrier/paint the bottom. Should be good to go.

Marina rules.

Ah

I'm hoping I can convince them to put me in the end of March...

I am starting to wonder why I even pulled her out - after a new bottom job I may not next winter.

Excelllent:thumbsup:

My boat stays in the water year round, my marina has a great bubbler system. The shrink wrap will come off the first week of April. Cant't wait!

I'm surrounded by 16 wrapped boat's, plus my outdrive still hasn't been reinstalled! Hopefully the begining of April just in time for the rain!
