If all goes well with a sea trial (me with their boat, and them with mine), I'll be trading Three Wishes for a Year 2000 450EB in about 2 weeks.

Three Wishes has served as well for 3 1/2 years, but it's time for a bigger salon area, 2 heads, and some fishing accoutrement that isn't an option on a Sundancer. With a 450EB, I think we can knock them all out at once.

I'm grateful to Skip, Frank, and Dominic for their help and advice over the past couple of weeks. It has been an up and down process.

This whole thing has come about 3 or 4 months earlier than planned, and I wasn't quite financially prepared for it yet. After some financial gymnastics, things are set.

Right now, we are at about 85% done. After the weekend, it should be closer to 90%, then after early next week, the pre-delivery punchlist work will begin in earnest, with delivery slated for the 2nd or 3rd week in Feb.

It has been a crazy couple of weeks, but we can see the finish line from here. Unless some hurdle appears from nowhere, we should be able to get this finished.

Again - thanks Frank, Dominic, and Skip.

Well Good Luck with everything. I just went up 6 feet yesterday - I survived the trade in inspection, fwebster & Jackson was alot of help. While we didn't buy used. We felt like we were happy with our decision.

Good luck with the new boat. If your process was like ours - It never felt like it was a done deal until I signed everything yesterday.

Wow..................another CSR member sucumbs to ITIS.

Congratualtions are in order but I wonder if someone has a vacine for all the ITIS cases going around here lately?

Good luck with the sea trials....will this be the "4th wish".. ..keep us posted.....

ywljacket, good luck with your purchase, this one should get you out to those fishing holes and back. OK, now tell me Cats or Cummins???

And so we see that yes, boating can unite even the staunchest of enemies, namely Georgia (me) and Georgia Tech (Mike) graduates. Hmmm..maybe a couple Sea Rays will straighten out them fellas over thar in eye-ran......
I digress.
Mike, congratulations, happy to help, and of course, GO DAWGS!!!!!!

regards
Skip

Congratulations on the new Boat! Hope everything works out in the sea trails. Post some pictures of her when the deal gets done. You know how we like to drool over them.

Being from GA it is always "GO DAWGS!" But I do pull for the "Fuzzy Bees" whenever they are playing anyone..... but UGA!!! I have met Bobby Dodd and that did influence me some!!!! What a man!

Petep - Cummins 6CTA's, like Skip has.

In Skip's honor, we have tentatively named her Jackets Required.

In all honesty, something akin to Truly Blessed fits better, but Skip took that one!

Thanks for the well wishes.

MM took my boat today for the final trade evaluation. I should know tomorrow if there were any glitches, but I would be very surprised if there were.

From there, it's basically storing up as many dead presidents as I can get my hands on to pay for insurance. Ooouuuuucccchhhhh.

OK, Getting nervous now....

Final prep is underway, with a closing scheduled for Monday or Tuesday next week (probably Monday).

If that goes well, then I'll take it from MM to our marina on Friday next week (about a 3 hour run).

I'm having to overpay a bit for a 60' slip at the new marina. On the bright side, it's 19 feet wide, which should docking easy until I get used to the new boat!

YwlJacket, congratulations. Iam in Fort lauderdale right now, just got back from boat show, anyway iam sea trialing, surveying 45DA,etc... friday morning bright and early. Hope we both have new boats by March! :smt038 JC

Congrats ywljacket. good luck with the closing. Down in Fl. where you are, what's the insurance costs look like? I closed on 40DA 12/29/06 and take delivery 3/31. My insurance up here is $1,550 for the year. I think that's pretty good.

Hey, JC3. How was the show today? Good luck to you too on your sea trial/survey tomorrow.

Can't wait to see the pics on both your new boats.

Check out VM for some on mine. As son as I take delivery will post more with name and graphics I am putting on transom.
