6.5 Onan parts needed

Does anyone have any info or suggestions? I'm having some issues with the Walbro carb on my 6.5 Onan and can't seem to locate any rebuild kits/ float and elect choke. I would be interested in used parts if available.

You might try onanparts.com, ebay, or even your local Cummins dealer. Smokstak.com has been a good resource for me. I have a 6.5MCCK spec H. The element in my choke was burned out, so I just made another one - bought the same diameter nichrome wire and coiled it around a kabob stick until it reached 40ohms (I think that was the number in the manual). Also try your local auto or small engine shops. I've found parts for my Westerbeke carbs there. The carbs are marine carbs....the rebuild kits are not!
