Here's what I would do. I would go have a machine shop fabricate you two spacers that are 2" tall and then sandwich another gasket in there. Since the joint is dry, there's nothing to worry about. I bet you could get someone to turn those around in a couple of days. Problem solved. Then go sell them to all the others on this board who are struggling with the same issue. You'll get a free set of risers and spacers out of it.
