Fuel on under the stairs and at Racor filters? Batteries fully charged? If the fuel system is not primed, you can turn the ignition rocker from stop to run (not all the way to start) and let it sit about 8-10 seconds, do that 4 or 5 times and that should get the fuel to the engine. There's a bleeder valve to help let air out on the pump that probably has a rubber cap on it right before the fuel line that goes to the injectors. There's a tool for it but you can do it w/ flat head screwdriver. Get someone to do the sequence described above at the helm while pressing in on the bleeder valve an you'll know pretty quick if you're getting fuel (have some rags w/ you). The fireboy will also cut off the fuel and blowers if the fire extinguisher charge is low, disconnected or got discharged, but you'd likely get an alarm on that unless your alarm is jumped or disabled. Let us know what you find out.Confused. Looking for some help... boat splashed in yesterday. Went down to fire up engines, gennie, etc. Engines will crank and crank, but not start. Both Port and Starboard. I did not winter work other than zinc changes. Boat ran great at end of season and right up to winterizing. Very odd. Turn keys on in salon and toggle down both ignition switches. Screens power up and show System OK. Then crank and crank, but no start. Seems like not getting fuel, but I didn't change any filters to allow air in and both of them doing it??? Any help would be appreciated. Dave
Thanks so much, that would be awesome, should just be 4 corner screws and lift up slightly enough to get an angle of the wires connected to the lower left 3 rocker switches. Thanks!!!!!
Hey Quality Time, or probably any 2000-2004 480DB owners, if anybody is close to their boat in the next day or two, (I'm not) Will you take a quick measurement from the back side to see if a Maretron DSM250 will flush mount where the StarCraft/Diesel View is currently located? I know the hole will have to be enlarged, I'm looking for the vertical measurement.
I've attempted to attach the template, but the total vertical measurement on the dash side is 5.75" and 5.47" on the backside. View attachment 55249 View attachment 55250 I know I have enough "side to side". Thanks in advance. I'll update with the install and whether it all works.....
Looks Fantastic!!!After an unfortunate mishap with a bridge, new electronics... Has anyone else done this? Taking delivery this weekend.
Thanks QT! This will help. Looks like your illumination wire may have dropped down, I'm re-attaching mine w/ some drops of silicone. The wire ties that bundle all the wires together on mine were cut loose so I have about 18" of slack to raise my panel. Guess I'll tie them back when I get the switches sorted out. Thanks Again.View attachment 55290 View attachment 55291 View attachment 55292
Here are a few pics. Sorry I couldn’t get anything better but there wasn’t much slack in the wires and didn’t want to break my panel.
