WDR, First off mine is a 99 but should be the same. You can use a 15A (household plug) to 50A adapter when the boat is on land. Very common to find as RV and campers use them often. This setup will power one side of your panel which powers the chargers and outlets. I believe everything 110v and of course not the 220v items.

If you are at a marina that only has 30A service you have 2 options. A 30a to 50a adapter and will only power the 110 volt side of the panel as mentioned above, Or purchase a "two 30a to 50a" smart adapter. Not just a splitter. One like a Hubell YQ230. Keep in mind that you have to plug into both phases of the supply panel. A lot of marinas wire their posts with both legs on each side of the post (lighthouse). The smart adapter supply's 50A-220V service and will tell you by a green light when the smart adapter is plugged in properly . Hope this helps

Russ, I have to look again next time down, but, as mentioned already, my gen can only pull and return from/to the port tank. The valve is just a shutoff not transfer valve. The supply valves to the engines can be changed from port or starboard or supply from the same tank. But the returns are not changeable. Port will always return to port and STBD to STBD. Again I will double check next time down.

Anybody know where the Cablemaster remote receiver is located (or supposed to be located)? Thanks in advance.

Mines mounted to the ceiling in the lazarette above the platform lift pump.
Thanks Quality time, that's what I feared, I think I just have wires where it was, will look around some more and trace to make sure..... I appreciate your responses, trying to finish getting this one sorted out, looking good, almost done. Anyone can pm me on some really good info on HS, AC and turbo info, GHS swim platform, and otherwise. Thanks

Anybody know where to source the 2” thick sound/heat shield in the top of the engine compartment?

What antifreeze do you use in QSM11? I’ve read that it needs to be cut 50/50 w distilled water and then an additive added. Is there a brand I can just get at a local auto store that meets the Cummins specs that’s ready to go?

Soundown in Salem, MA is the supplier. They will sell it direct to you, along with pins, clips and adhesive spray if you need it. You can also purchase from Defender and West Marine, I think.

Hi new 480DB owner looking to upgrade my main battery charger and was looking for suggestions. Thanks

I just replaced the OE charger with a Promariner 1240P. Easy install and a nice upgrade so far. I also installed the optional remote display in the entertainment center beneath the TV.
